Elementary School Building Reconfiguration 2022-2023

Expand the district's Early Childhood Center (currently providing preschool services at Dorr elementary) by placing pre-school classrooms in the three elementary buildings.
Reconfigure Holland elementary school to educate only students in grades 4 and 5 (which will allow for an even easier transition to the middle school)
School Attendance - Start/Dismissal Times: - Crissey, Dorr, Holloway K-Grade 3 students will attend school from 9am-3:30 pm - Holland Intermediate students will attend school from 7:30 am-2:30 pm - SMS students will attend school from 7:25 am and 2:15 pm - SHS students will attend school between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm
This webpage was created to assist families in finding information, accessing communication tools, and prepare for this exciting transition.
The 2022-2023 school year will start for elementary/intermediate students with "JumpStart" days, an unique effort to allow parents individual time to meet with teachers and become familiar with the school and bring supplies before students actually begin the school year. Families were sent an email on 7/28/22 from AmandaWilhelm@springfield-schools.org with their link to begin scheduling JumpStart appointments. Anyone who did not receive an email message is asked to contact Amanda Wilhelm using the hyperlink shared above.
Access to traditional "back-to-school" paperwork should be done online using the Parent PowerSchool account.
